Naomi Watts
Naomi Ellen Watts, born 28 September 1968 is an British actress. She made her debut in film in Australia in For Love Alone (1986) and was followed by three TV series: Hey Dad.. (1990), Brides of Christ (911) and Home and Away (1991) and Flirting (1991). Watts was an unsuccessful actor when she first arrived in the United States. She acted in films of a smaller scale and later was a professional actress. The role was the catalyst for her rise to international prominence. Watts was a journalist suffering from depression in The Ring, a horror film that was remade. For her portrayal of a grieving mother in the Alejandro film 21 Grams, she was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actress. She continued to rise in the spotlight with her the roles in I Heart Huckabees (2004) and King Kong (2005) as along with Eastern Promises (2007) and The International (2009).
