Jillian Noel Hennessy

Jillian Noel Hennessy, born on the 25th of November, 1968 was a Canadian actress from Canada. She is most known for her roles on the American television show Law & Order, on where she played prosecutor Claire Kincaid for three seasons as well as Crossing Jordan, on which she was the main character, Jordan Cavanaugh, for six seasons. She also appeared as acting in movies such as RoboCop 3 or Most Wanted and independent films Chutney Popcorn, which she co-directed. Hennessy was born and raised in Edmonton. John Hennessy her father was a marketing executive and salesman. He was a frequent traveler that led to numerous family relocations. Maxine Hernnessy, Maxine's mother and secretary, passed away in the year 1982. Eleanor her paternal grandmother who lived in Kitchener (Ontario) was involved in the raising of her daughter. John Paul Hennessy Jr. Her younger brother is Jacqueline Hennessy the identical twin who works as a journalist for a magazine as well as a host on TV in Canada. Hennessy is a mix of Irish, French French, Swedish and Italian origins on her father's side as well as mostly Ukrainian Roma on the mother's. She attended Stanley Park Senior Public School and was a graduate of Grand River Collegiate Institute in Kitchener, Ontario and busked in the Toronto subway. Hennessy was the younger sister of her brother. They made their acting debut in 1988 as twin call-girls in Dead Ringers. Gillian Anderson, Gillian Anderson's sister, revealed that she was chosen for The X-Files for Dana Scully's part. Hennessy also played the role as Dr. Marie Lazarus on RoboCop 3. In 1993, Dick Wolf signed Hennessy to the role as Claire Kincaid assistant district attorney in the show Law & Order. The role was played by her for three seasons before resigning the show in the year 1996.
