Kaitlyn Anne Vincie

Kaitlyn Ann Vincie (born December 10, 1987) is an American journalist and sports presenter. She is employed by the Fox NASCAR team as a reporter, and also hosts their daily news and update show NASCAR Race Hub. Vincie's love for stock car racing started when she was issued an pit lane pass and , after graduating from Christopher Newport University, she worked as a reporter at Langley Speedway. Vincie gained attention when her self-made video blogs on NASCAR were published on the stock car racing website SceneDaily. Vincie was born on the 10th of December 1987, in Harrisonburg, Virginia, and was raised in Bridgewater before her family moved to Warrenton after Vincie had entered high school. She is the daughter and granddaughter of John Vincie and Margaret Vincie. Vincie's grandmother Eleanor N. Logan (a fifth-grade teacher) was her grandfather. He was a part of Bridgewater College's faculty. Journalism was something she had always been interested in from an early age. Vincie graduated in 2006 from Fauquier High School. Vincie participated in track and field competitions and was a manager for the school’s wrestling team for four seasons. She clinched victory in the 800-meter race of the AAA Cedar Run District. Vincie got to know Al Pearce, who mentored her. He also provided lots of information. She graduated with a bachelor's diploma from Christopher Newport University in 2010. Vincie worked as an intern for the athletics department at the university. She also worked for Charlotte Motor Speedway's USAR Pro Cup Series. Vincie wrote a senior dissertation about auto racing gender disparity that specifically focused on Danica Patrick, a female race car driver. She began to become interested in the sport after receiving an entry into the pit lane to the NASCAR All-Star Race. Her influences are Wendy Venturini and Krista Voda.
