Magda Apanowicz

Magda Apanowicz, (pronounced NOH-vitch) is a Canadian actress. Her most well-known roles include her roles as Andy Jensen on the ABC Family series Kyle XY, as Lacy Rand on the short-lived Syfy science fiction drama series Caprica and as Emily (born Maya Hartwell) in the science fiction show Continuum. Recently, she was featured as Sandy in the Netflix thriller series You. Apanowicz who is Polish-American was in the ninth grade in Poland. She lived there along with her uncle. She also attended an institution in Jelenia Gora. She went on to study at Vancouver Film School. After her brother introduced her the Pulp Fiction, she became interested in acting. She started her acting career in 2002, making brief appearances in the TV series Jeremiah and John Doe.From 2007 to 2009 she was the character of Andy Jensen on Kyle XY. She was in Every Second Counts, a Hallmark Channel original film in the year 2008. In 2009, Apanowicz was cast in the role of Lacy Rand (a regular on the series) in the drama television series Caprica which starred Eric Stoltz, Alessandra Torresani. Hellcats was her following appearance. In 2012, she starred as Emily in Jane Espenson's second season of her romantic comedy web show Husbands. In 2013, Apanowicz also played the part of Samantha in The Green Inferno, an Eli Roth horror film. The Green Inferno was originally shot in 2012. It was released internationally in the year 2015. Apanowicz was cast in Volition as Angela. It premiered on February 20 20, 2020. Apanowicz was cast as Sandy in the second season Netflix thriller You.
