The reason for her departure was a source of debate between viewers, with a majority who wanted her to the show in subsequent episodes until the show was cancelled in the year 2012. In the year 2016, Ullerup was cast as Bree O'Brien in Chesapeake Shores. Ullerup portrayed Maggie Thomas in Asteroid: Final Impact, the movie about the 2015 disaster. Ullerup's regular role in Hallmark's Signed, Sealed, Delivered series is Dale Travers since 2016.
